A New Chapter in Creative Leadership

If you’ve followed Anne Mason Design for a while, you know how much I love telling stories—through interiors, yes, but also through branding, community, and thoughtful collaboration. So today, I’m honored to share a new chapter in my professional journey: I’ve been elected Communications Director for the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), a role I’ll proudly serve from 2025 through 2027.

This opportunity is incredibly meaningful to me—not just as a designer, but as someone who believes in the power of design to connect, uplift, and inspire. Starting this fall (with a swearing-in ceremony in September and an official start in October), I’ll be helping to guide how ASID Georgia communicates across platforms and with our vibrant community of members, students, and design lovers.

For those of you new to ASID, it’s the leading professional organization for interior designers in the United States, championing design that transforms lives. It’s also where I’ve found mentorship, inspiration, and connection as a professional—and where I now hope to give back.

My journey began in Memphis, TN, a place rich in soul and artistic energy. That creative spark led me to the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD), where I studied Industrial Design, Interior Design, and Graphic Design. Over the past decade, I’ve worked in branding, content strategy, and now as founder of Anne Mason Design, I wear many hats—designer, storyteller, strategist, and business owner.

This new ASID leadership role is a natural extension of all of that. It allows me to combine my passion for brand development with my love for design—and to help shine a spotlight on the incredibly talented members of our Georgia chapter. I’ll be focusing on digital engagement, recruitment and retention, and sharing the stories that make our community so vibrant and unique.

For my clients, this role is also a reminder: at Anne Mason Design, we never stop growing. I’m constantly pushing myself to stay connected to what’s current, meaningful, and inspiring in the design world—so I can bring that same energy into your home.

Thank you for supporting AMD and for being part of this exciting journey!
