What was once a storage room with white walls and greige carpet has been reimagined into a dual-purpose retreat that exudes timeless charm. Our client envisioned a space that could serve as a classic library during the day and transform into a cozy smoking room by night. The result is a warm, inviting space with refined touches that balance function and style.

At the heart of this transformation is a custom Chesterfield couch, its deep hues and tufted design anchoring the room with elegance. Surrounding it, carefully curated antique décor adds character and a sense of history, reinforcing the library-like atmosphere. Textured tweed wallpaper introduces visual depth and complements the rich tones of the dark hardwood flooring, which replaced the original carpet.

To enhance the evening ambiance, we focused on low-level lighting, including table lamps and accent lights, to create a warm and intimate glow. Every detail—from the plaid curtains framing the window to the intricate area rug—was chosen to tie together the room's sophisticated aesthetic.
