Take a Walkthrough of The Library
We’re thrilled to share one of our favorite design projects—a stunning library created for a bachelor in Memphis, TN! This space was crafted to perfectly blend the client’s love for his scotch collection and passion for antiques, resulting in a library that feels both sophisticated and personal.
Anne Mason, founder and lead designer of Anne Mason Design (AMD), walks us through the unique design selections that brought this library to life. From the rich wood tones to the carefully chosen display pieces, every element was selected to create an atmosphere that feels like a timeless retreat. The challenge was to incorporate both the client's love for vintage items and the desire for a functional space to showcase his prized scotch collection.
In the video, Anne explains how layering textures and decor helped balance the vintage and modern elements within the room. The floor to ceiling wood shelves not only offer a perfect display for the scotch bottles but also serve as a backdrop to showcase the client’s collection of antique treasures. To elevate the design further, Anne focused on creating intimate, cozy corners where the client can relax and enjoy his space.
