Behind the Scenes: My CNBC Interview on the Future of Outdoor Living

Designing the Future of Outdoor Living: My CNBC Interview Experience

Today was an exciting milestone in my career as I had the privilege of being interviewed as a Design Expert for a CNBC TV program set to air this fall! I’ll admit, the pressure was on, but it was an incredible opportunity to share insights on one of my favorite topics: the evolution of outdoor living. The segment focused on Struxure and their groundbreaking pergola systems, which are revolutionizing how we think about outdoor spaces.

During my segment on Advancements, I explored how design is responding to the growing demand for seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. Modern outdoor spaces are no longer just an aesthetic add-on—they’ve become essential extensions of our homes and workplaces. These spaces are all about functionality, sustainability, and creating environments that foster connection and relaxation.

One of the most exciting aspects of this evolution is the role of technology. Struxure’s adjustable pergolas exemplify how innovative design meets cutting-edge tech. With motorized louvers, weather sensors, and smart home integration, these systems adapt in real-time to changing elements, offering users unmatched comfort and versatility.

As outdoor spaces become more integral to how we live, technology like this will continue to drive the industry forward. I’m thrilled to be part of this conversation and can’t wait to share more once the program airs. Stay tuned for updates on air dates, and let’s keep reimagining the possibilities for outdoor living!
