Meet the Designer: From Memphis Roots to Atlanta Dreams
Growing up in Memphis, TN—the vibrant home of Blues and birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll—taught me to appreciate creativity and expression from an early age. That spirit has stayed with me through my journey, which brought me to Georgia in 2010. For the past decade, Atlanta has been my home and the launching pad for my design career.
I owe much of my professional foundation to the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I earned three degrees: a BFA in Industrial Design, a Minor in Graphic Design, and a MA in Interior Design. My diverse educational background fuels my holistic approach to design, blending functionality, aesthetics, and storytelling to create meaningful spaces.
Opening my own firm has been the biggest and most rewarding risk I’ve ever taken. It’s allowed me to explore my passion and grow in ways I never imagined. My second most daring adventure? Traveling solo to Ireland in the spring of 2023—a life-changing experience that reminded me of the value of stepping outside your comfort zone.
Outside of work, my two dogs keep me grounded and active. You’ll often find us at Fetch Park or exploring a wooded trail. When I need a deeper recharge, I head to the beach or immerse myself in nature.
Design is more than a profession for me; it’s a way of connecting people, places, and stories. I’m grateful for every step of this journey and excited for what’s to come!
