When we first saw this room, it was being used as storage, with white walls and greige carpet. The client wanted to reimagine it as a space that could serve double duty—looking like a library during the day and transforming into a cozy, sophisticated smoking room at night.

To bring this vision to life, we focused on creating a warm, inviting atmosphere with a mix of antique decor and contemporary design elements. A custom Chesterfield couch set the tone for the space, offering both comfort and luxury. We paired this statement piece with textured tweed wallpaper that adds visual depth and richness to the room. Dark hardwood flooring helped ground the space, while the low level lighting provided a soft, intimate glow that would make the room feel cozy after hours.

Throughout the room, we emphasized antique accessories to give it character and charm. The combination of these elements—dark colors, vintage-inspired furniture, and subdued lighting—creates a perfect blend of a library’s quiet elegance and the relaxed, moody ambiance of a smoking room.
